Arrangements

Four speakers — Asha, Bina, Chitra and Devi — each gave exactly two talks at a forum; the talks were assigned by four moderators — Wing, Xi, Yuki and Zane. A speaker's two talks were assigned by two DIFFERENT moderators. The eight talks were given one after another (positions 1 to 8). The first four talks were the first talks of the four speakers, assigned by four different moderators; no speaker gave her second talk before all four first talks were done; and the speakers gave their second talks in the SAME order as their first talks. The number of talks strictly between a moderator's two assigned talks is that moderator's 'gap'. Known. i. The first talk was by Asha, assigned by Xi. ii. The last talk was by Devi, assigned by Zane. iii. Each moderator assigned exactly two talks. Yuki's two talks were consecutive (gap 0). iv. For each of Wing, Xi and Zane, the gap was the same. v. No moderator who assigned a talk to Asha also assigned a talk to Bina; no moderator who assigned a talk to Chitra also assigned a talk to Devi.
